& Marketing Development, has operated as an Import/Export company since
1992.
SMD Trading
has been fortunate in establishing joint venture and strategic
relationships which offer non-woven and paper chef hats; paper doyleys
(doilies); and microwaveable bowls and containers; and other imported
bamboo, paper, plastic, wooden items manufactured in Asia. Local stock
is available in our Southern California warehouse to ensure service
level and to maximize USA customer’s inventory turns. We are happy to
develop a specific program to satisfy your needs
.
SMD also
represents many U.S.A. manufacturers of disposable food service products
(aluminum, paper, and plastic), janitorial items, personal care items,
and canned food products for various parts of the world. Many of these
products are packaged for both institutional use and retail sale to the
consumer, and can be special printed for a specific customer. These
items are normally sold through distributors to restaurants, fast food
chains, convenience stores, food processors, supermarkets, schools,
hospitals, and government agencies.
We occasionally have access to excess production overruns, misprints,
and closeouts of discontinued items.
North
America
Products can
be shipped in full containers, truckload, LTL, and even UPS for your
convenience.
Export
Products can be shipped in full
containers from a single manufacturer from the most convenient U.S. or
Asian port. Products from various manufacturers may also amalgamate in
a SMD Trading Co. container sailing from Long Beach, California,
U.S.A. We would also be happy either to source any product of interest
or to consolidate your direct purchases from other U. S. manufacturers
in our containers to help reduce your freight costs and increase your
inventory turns. Payment terms are via wire transfer or irrevocable
letters of credit. Pricing can be developed for either F.O.B. U.S.A.
port or C.I.F if you prefer.
Service
If a desired
foodservice product is not listed, SMD Trading will be happy to source
the product for you or direct you to the manufacturer.
