WHO:

Over 50 of Los Angeles' finest restaurants, such as Border Grill & Ciudad, Cardini, Chaya Venice, Chin Chin, Cicada, Cienega, City Grill, El Cholo, Granita, House of Blues, Hugo Molina Restaurant, Kyoto Japanese Restaurant, and Tommy Tang's, will be preparing culinary delights accompanied by offerings of beverages, and wines from 25 premier international wineries including Chalone, Ferrari-Carano, Grgich Hills, Niebaum Coppolla, Sonoma Cutrer, Taittinger,and Veuve Cliquot. Corporate sponsors include American Express, Williams-Sonoma, Evian Natural Spring Water, Universal Studios Hollywood, Loew's Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Variety, House of Blues, and Southern California Edison.
WHERE:
Hollywood Terrace, Universal Studios, Hollywood. Park at the Technicolor Gate, Lankershim Blvd., where you will be picked up by the Tram and served champagne and nibbles on the ride to the Terrace.

Saturday, June 3,2000, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
VIP Reception 6-7 p.m. Between 20 and 30 million Americans suffer from hunger. Taste of the Nation provides a way for chefs and restaurateurs to contribute their skills and talents to fight hunger. Since 1989 Taste of theNation events in Los Angeles have raised more than $562,000. Nationwide, Taste of the Nation has raised over $30 million to fight hunger. 100% of revenues raised from ticket sales will be distributed to anti hunger organizations. Local beneficiaries include: Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), L.A. Family Housing Corp./The Valley Shelter, LA Coalition to End Hunger & Homelessness, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Santa Monica /Malibu Meals on Wheels, and St. Joseph Center.
